Background of first project
Two years ago we worked in collaboration with the Diountou student Association to realize a major project for the community.After a thorough research, the furnishing of the health centre was earmarked.This lead to the furnishing of the one and only health centre in the area. Prior to our intervention, patients were admitted or forced to lie down on concrete floor due to the lack of beds and other basic facilities. Funds were sought from possible donors within the Lelouma community in The Netherlands plus what our partners in Guinea were able to contribute.

We would like to inform all those who have one way or the other contributed to the second phase of the project. We can happily confirm you that the cargo has been received by our sister organization AJEED in Conakry. We are not there yet but in sa Allah surely but slowly we will be there and count on the support of everybody who has his origin at heart. No body will come and do it for us if we do not put our shoulders to the wheel.
In the future we will try to have a very good ambulance for transporting patients from and to the satellite villages around the health centre but more importantly for transporting referred patients to Labé or Lelouma without waiting for the Ambulance to come all the way from Lelouma Centre.
We intend to use our sister organisation AJEED as we did in the past to realize this project too. So the participation of each will be highly appreciated.
